About Sihah Sheikh

Sihah Waris is a young tech entrepreneur from Pakistan, who has learned the art of running a business over the years by establishing a few successful startups. She completed her graduation in Business Administration and IT Management in 2009 and was recently selected among top ten female entrepreneurs in Pakistan by “Be Your Own Boss” – an online blog. She is the first female graduate of Founder Institute Pakistan and was also awarded the ‘Top Founder’ from Founder Institute Islamabad. Her entrepreneurial journey began when she launched Solugix (www.solugix.com) in 2013, providing IT solutions to small and medium companies worldwide. Solugix is now a mature company which is funding her second startup Rise Mom (www.risemom.com.pk ). Rise Mom is established to empower working mothers, it assists working women by keeping them remotely connected with their children while they are at work.
 
She has been a panelist and speaker with multiple organizations such as UNIDO, UNICEF, UNDP, Higher Education Commission, U.S. Embassy, Startup Expo, National Incubation Center, Founder Institute and others. She was selected among 5 delegates from Pakistan to represent her country in India at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2018 where her story was covered by Deccan Chronicle, the most read newspaper in major states of India, Siasat, BBC Urdu and others. Her name was also mentioned by Govt of Pakistan in the video tribute to the young female entrepreneur in Pakistan on Women’s Day 2018. She was selected to join the Global Leadership Forum 2019 by The Presidential Precinct, she is part of the Atlas Fellowship Program 2018-2019, currently serving at The Enterprise Center, in the United States, as Innovation and Information Technology Lead.
 
Sihah aspires to promote female entrepreneurship in Pakistan and empower working mothers. She dreamed of building a company of her own from a young age and with its’ fulfillment she now aims to continue mentoring founders and inspiring women to be independent and self-sufficient.
