My roommates say I don’t eat ‘real’ food. I hate water, milk, chicken, pasta, rice, fish, beans…and the list goes on. I have always been somehow picky when it came to food. However, I only recently discovered that there are three food items that I cannot live without: red meat, mushrooms (the fungus), and DARK chocolate. I can eat those three items for the rest of my life and never complain for a single day. I don’t really eat much meat here in the states, but I am compensating by overdosing on the other two. Dark chocolate has many health benefits, it is found to lower blood pressure, it is loaded with antioxidants, and serotonin. That been said-Nobody loves chocolate for health reasons, not the physical health at least. I neither understand, nor trust people who say they don’t like chocolate.

Another interesting thing about dark chocolate is that once you fall in love with it, there’s no going back, really! And you will have physical manifestations of emotional attachment. Your heart will beat faster when you walk into a chocolate shop, you will dream and fantasize about chocolatiers in dark brown horses and mint capes. You will have that distinct toxic mixture of nervousness, shaking, and the inability to contain your smile every time you open a box or a bar of chocolates-every single time!

Stop in the name of chocolate…Have a bar of dark chocolates. Now! Every day!
