So it‘s been interesting experience here, and the spirit of celebration and the positive attitude. I would say the friends I have met, are the conciliation for me. In the American soil, I watched the celebrated Halloween with friends. The sweets and candies I saw in the street and in the hands of children was shocking, and it hurts the nutritionist in me (I am still being positive). Customs in different fashions and style which appeared both scary and more like the dead than the living.
The Halloween origin though cut across religions, it has been transformed to an acceptable way of life among the people, Understanding the American culture is something I have been trying to grasp with open mind. To some extent my American friends and colleagues have been trying to explain things to me in details. The Halloween is one of the things I find it interesting! I can only say happy Halloween to those who celebrated across all continents.
