Ali Zain Ul Abidin has more than 5 years of diverse experience in human resources, talent management, and capacity development of youth in for-profit and non-profit sectors. Ali earned his Master’s in Management Sciences from Baluchistan University of IT, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), a leading public sector university, in Quetta, Pakistan. Ali has worked with BUITEMS, closely engaging with local, national, and international stakeholders for promoting employability. In this capacity, Ali has developed a talent pool of graduates from a diverse range of academic disciplines, assessed their profiles, and referred outstanding and qualified profiles to employers for jobs, training, and internships. Ali is also proficient in mentoring students for personal and professional career development. As Talent Coordinator Fellow at Partnership with Chldren, Ali assists the Chief Equity Officer and Talent and Equity Manager in managing talent acquisition goals, overseeing the PWC school intern program, and involves himself in overall performance management. He has also worked as HR Executive with a multinational logistics corporation (TCS Holdings), leading the Baluchistan Region, and Ali extended his expertise in talent acquisition and HR operations. Through these experiences, Ali has gained a firm grip on youth capacity building, peer education, HR operations, and management. He is avidly interested in broadening his perspectives on HR international practices, leadership, capacity development, talent acquisition, job training, and civic engagement.

Host Organization: Partnership with Children

Role at Host Organization: As the Talent Coordinator Fellow at Partnership with Children, Ali will assist the Chief Equity Officer and Talent and Equity Manager in managing talent acquisition goals, overseeing the PWC school intern program, and the overall performance management. The Fellow’s responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic recruitment plan; facilitatig the hiring process for all program and administrative roles; and ccordinating and managing intakes for all new opportunities. The Fellow will also prepare and support managers to facilitate performance management process, including an annual review and goal setting; and support managers in addressing performance issues in conjunction with the Director of Human Resources.

Blondie Ndebele has a decade of experience in the field of journalism and the non-profit sector. She holds a Master of Science Degree in International Relations from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the National University of Science and Technology. As Communications and Marketing Fellow with Global Fund for Children, Blondie provides a wide range of content creation, editorial, digital media, and design support to the organization’s global Communications and Marketing Team. She also contributes to tangible communications and marketing efforts that grow and engage Global Fund for Children’s audience, amplifies partner and youth voices, and shares the organization’s work, impact, and learning. Her work in the community development sector has helped her develop skills in leadership, advocacy, project management, community engagement, relationship building, facilitation, research, and documentation. As a practitioner of communication for development, Blondie has strived to provide stakeholders with unlimited access to information on a wide range of issues and amplify voices of vulnerable groups. She has constantly provided vital information for communities to make informed decisions on social-economic and political issues. Blondie was inspired by her passion for equitable growth and development to undertake voluntary work with entities that assist orphans and other vulnerable groups. She has also contributed immensely in addressing issues that include children’s rights, justice for women, inclusion of people with disabilities and environmental justice in rural communities.

Host Organization: Global Fund for Children

Role at Host Organization: As the Communications & Marketing Fellow, Blondie will meaningfully contribute to tangible communications and marketing efforts that grow and engage Global Fund for Children’s audience; amplify partner and youth voices; and share the organization’s work, impact, and learning. The Fellow will end the Fellowship with a published portfolio and professional experience and skill sets in communications, digital marketing, public relations, thought leadership, international development, philanthropy, children’s issues, and the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization.

Emmanuella Ezike is a project management specialist and a monitoring and evaluation expert with over four years of experience in the non-profit and public health sector as well as in community development. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from The University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Lagos. Over the past three years, Emmanuella has helped drive social change by supporting the implementation and evaluation of public health programs by leveraging quality data to facilitate evidence-based decisions for determining the success of programs. She has worked on programs with partnerships from organizations like Facebook, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Clinton Health Access Initiative to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs. Previously, Emmanuella worked as a Program Analyst where she developed a data quality assessment framework for evaluating post-program impact in three Nigerian states. Emmanuella has volunteered as a Community Engagement Officer for organizations including Habitat for Humanity. Through these experiences, she has developed superior data analysis, evaluation, and technical reporting skills. Emmanuella has a strong passion for strenghtening health systems, education, and women empowerment and strives to achieve social impact by creating and implementing program evaluation elements for high-impact projects in local and international communities.

Host Organization: Medici Road

Role at Host Organization: As the Evaluation Fellow, Emmanuella will compile, verify, and communicate data driven strategies that will inform Medici Road’s work and transform information into action. This Fellow will utilize mixed methods research strategies to manage the day-to-day operations of research and/or evaluation projects. In this role, the Fellow will be able to create recommendations on improving both Medici Road, and non- Medici Road, programs.

Manushi Sharma is a global health professional with over seven years of experience in program management and implementation. Through her engagements with – The George Institute for Global Health, The Royal Thai Ministry of Public Health, and The Public Health Foundation of India, she has developed a deep insight into the context and complexities of addressing health system gaps in countries of the global south. Manushi has hands-on experience in supporting and providing strategic leadership for planning, developing, and implementing public health research projects in the developing countries of sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific. Notably, she has published in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored a book on the economics of non-communicable disease prevention. She has organized and delivered several capacity-building sessions and policy dialogues and presented her work at international conferences. She has liaised and managed partnerships with various stakeholders, including United Nations agencies, the Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, governments, and civil society organizations. Manushi is passionate about social entrepreneurship, participatory approaches in social research, and evidence-based policy.

Host Organization: Collaborating for Resilience (CoRe)

Role at Host Organization: As the Learning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Fellow at Collaborating for Resilience, Manushi will gain experience in principles of multi-stakeholder dialogue to promote citizen engagement in policy reform and implementation and will apply these principles through one or more international partnerships. Manushi will manage partner collaborations and undertake action research in one or more program areas, and lead analyses focused on outcome monitoring, learning and evaluation. The Fellow will also help support action research and learning systems that build the capacity of civil society partners to drive governance innovations, distil insights from comparative analysis of outcomes across different partnership sites working towards systems change, and communicate lessons for policy and practice.

Muneeb Malik is as an operations manager and creative data analyst with expertise in project coordination, project management, and data analysis with over five years of experience within the development, non-profit and IT sector. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Pakistan and completed his Masters in Structural Engineering and Business Management from Imperial College London, UK. As a Data Project Management Fellow with Center for Open Data Enterprise (CODE), Muneeb helps to manage and execute programs to apply data for the public good and support equity, specifically helping to manage the content and design of complex, large virtual convenings, as well as participating in convenings, helping to synthesize results, assisting in research and publication of narrative reports and digital resources, and otherwise supporting CODE’s Roundtables program. Muneeb has developed strong command at managing and coordinating projects for renewable energy, technology integration, sustainability, green construction practices and social development. He has also developed skills in data analysis and data visualization using smart tools and software for a variety of projects. Over the last two years, Muneeb has developed interactive dashboards and data reports for various public and private sector clients in the USA, such as the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). He has also been engaged with a USA based organization through its home office as a Junior Estimator Engineer. Muneeb believes in sustainable practices and green ventures linking technology and academia for prosperous development.

Host Organization: Center for Open Data Enterprise (CODE)

Role at Host Organization: As the Data Project Management Fellow, Muneeb will work with the Roundtables Program Manager and the CODE team to help manage and execute programs to apply data for the public good and support equity. The Fellow will help manage both the content and design of complex, large virtual convenings, participate in convenings and help synthesize the results, assist in research and the publication of narrative reports and digital resources, and support CODE’s Roundtables program in other ways. The Fellow will also help CODE demonstrate the power of data in addressing climate change, environmental injustice, and racial inequity, among other issues, while learning a state-of-the-art methodology for research and convening on these issues.

Okwudirichukwu Alu has seven years experience with both local and international partners in the nonprofit sector, designing project plans, and monitoring and evaluation. He has been a crucial team player for REACH Initiative, where he worked as the Assessment officer for the Joint Market and Monitoring Initiative (JMMI), carrying out Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Assessment, and also working with Premiere Urgence Internationale Nigeria as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. While working for Global Environmental Health Solutions a local nonprofit Organisation, he was able to develop a help desk system that served as a complaint responsemechanism assisting the organisation in getting feedback from the communities it served. Alu has extensive experience in leadership and management roles and is always willing to offer support and network with teams. Currently, Alu is a Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow with The Climate Initiative. In this role, Alu focuses on bringing and utilizing data to demonstrate The Climate Initiative’s impact as it can be mapped against our overall theory of change. He has a Master’s degree in Environmental engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria.

Host Organization: The Climate Initiative

Role at Host Organization: As the Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow, Okwudirichukwu’s role is focused on bringing and utilizing data to demonstrate The Climate Initiative’s impact as it can be mapped against the overall theory of change. The Fellow will work with the TCI programs and policy teams and TCI Executive Team on projects related to climate action and building out metrics and tracking frameworks.

Shivalika Gupta is a rural development specialist committed towards generating quality evidence in development programs and policy. During the past eight years, she has progressively engaged with a variety of stakeholders, including consultants, academics, international donors, and the Government of India across topics including agriculture, financial inclusion, health & nutrition, and energy. It is her conviction that the missing key to the infamous challenge of policy implementation gap is providing access to credible evidence to all stakeholders, especially the communities concerned. As a technical expert for monitoring, evaluation, and policy research, her strengths are research designs (experimental & quasi-experimental), leading evaluation studies, developing logical frameworks, developing indicators for projects and programs, designing monitoring systems, and documentation. In her prior engagement as Welthungerhilfe India’s first M.E.A.L Coordinator (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning), she led the creation of a new technical support unit for the country program comprising 31 local NGO partners nationwide. The unit supports the partners on planning and implementing M&E functions, accountability initiatives, and capacity building initiatives. Previously, she has worked in various research-oriented capacities with research consulting, J-PAL, and NITI Aayog (Government of India’s policy think tank). As an evaluator, she has singlehandedly led field studies across eight states in India. As a trainer, she is known to deploy a hands-on approach to M&E related topics across all levels of program implementation. Shivalika continues to work on challenges related to agrarian distress and farmer welfare.

Host Organization: International Fertilizer Development Center

Role at Host Organization: As the Global Engagement Programs Fellow, Tabish will play a role in managing global engagement programs at the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs. The Fellow will be working within different fields, including assessment, event planning, program/partnership management and development, marketing and recruitment, curriculum development, and alumni engagement.
