I’ve never believed in ‘time flies’ more than I do as I write this. It feels like yesterday when I came to Cultural Vistas and I cannot believe today is officially the last day of my fellowship.
When people ask me what brought me to the United States, I still don’t know what to tell them. Maybe it was fate, opportunity or the timing of things but as I end my fellowship and a year of adventures that I’ll never forget, if there is one thing I’m certain about it is that this past year has been everything I hoped it to be.
From storytelling and being a voice for Cultural Vistas to working on outreach for programs and witnessing the CV Gala and USACE Women in Business Summit unfold in front of my eyes, the experiences I’ve had this year will stay with me forever.
