Emma joined the Atlas Corps team in October 2017. As a Program Associate, she is responsible for managing pre-arrival logistics for new Atlas Corps Fellows, and providing them with professional and social support throughout their Fellowships.

Her verve for Atlas Corps’ work stems from her prior experience both participating in, as well asorganizing, international exchange and leadership development programs. While serving as a Project Associate in New Delhi, India with the International Innovation Corps, a program based out of the Harris School of Public Policy, Emma collaborated with the Delhi state government on various water revitalization projects and with the nationalthink tank, NITI Aayog,to foster open data platforms. Before that, she was a part of a team coordinating the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights’ internship program, guiding grantees through search and placement at host organizations around the world. Other internship experiences include advocating for immigrant rights with New Immigrant Community Empowerment, consulting for the Chicago Cultural Alliance, and event planning for After School Matters.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy with a minor in Human Rights from the University of Chicago, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society, honored as a Student Marshal, and received the Howell Murray Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Leadership. There she was actively involved in dance, soccer, and community service, all of which she continues to enjoy outside of work!
