Tifa Laily Savitri has seventeen years of experience in the nonprofit sector and earned a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. Tifa has worked at the National Civil Service Agency (NCSA). Tifa served as Head of the International Cooperation Subdivision. Tifa is responsible for managing foreign cooperation, preparing materials for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of international cooperation, including both short- and long-term education. The skills obtained from this designation are the aspects of cooperation in civil service and strengthening the international relations between NCSA and other civil service organizations in the world. Before joining NCSA, Tifa worked at the Directorate Vector Borne Disease Control, Ministry of Health, and the Indonesia National Committee for Avian Flu Control and Pandemic Influenza Preparedness, Coordinating Ministry for People Welfare. Tifa’s first career was as a Research Assistant at the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Studies, Bogor Agricultural University. All of those experience provides excellent skills and supports her future career. Working in those important organizations has given Tifa a broad overview of how important it is for Indonesia to develop strategies to encourage more people to pursue education. Tifa believes that a more educated population leads to a better government for everyone. Education plays a role in creating young people as agents of change that carry the difference and create agents of producers who can create real change.
