Irma Nugrahanti is an experienced project leader with seven years of experience in managing the financial management, program management, operations management, and public relations of complex and cross-cutting projects funded by international donors. Irma has written reports and fund proposals that led to grants awarded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), Department for International Development (DFID), Global Britain Fund, and the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives. Irma is also a Co-founder of an Indonesian-based charity called Sekolabilitas, which aims to improve education opportunities for disabled children in Indonesia. Her role as a Head of Finance includes fund management, proposal development and community outreaching. Irma holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from The University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, sponsored by the Indonesian government (LPDP). After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, she completed a Tourism and Hospitality Management program in the United States, sponsored by The U.S. Department of State. In 2018, The Netherlands awarded her a scholarship to complete a course on Local Economic Development. Beyond her skills and professionalism, she is passionate about economic development, women’s empowerment, education, identity, diversity, and human rights. Irma is not afraid to take a leadership role and has helped lead workshops and panel discussions about global awareness, identity, unity, and diversity. Irma has volunteered in various organizations such as UNICEF, Ethnic Students Association, Women in Business Society, Indonesia Global Mentorship, International Society, and many others. Irma has also received awards in journalism, including an honourable mention in an essay competition, and was a finalist in a news anchor competition.

Role at CARE USA Irma will serve as the Budget Liaison and Project Mobilization Manager: providing comprehensive budget and financial management support to the Policy and Advocacy department under the direction of the Senior Director for Resource Mobilization and in partnership with the CARE finance team.
