Namasté: I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.

Isn’t it funny when we think about the entire universe? As if everything and everyone else where something in addition to us. Think about it, when we connect so deep with our emotions, whether they are positive or negative, we tend to maximize our understanding of a situation with something like

“Nobody in the whole world …”

But then, if you truly reflect on that utterance… who’s the whole world? Is it other people? Is it other people that you suppose, are not being affected by those feelings that you’re having? Because for those “other people”, it’s the same! And that is such a sweet paradox… you’re the world they believe is not being affected by their feelings, thoughts or actions.

We are all connected. At the end of the day, we are all human beings; when we die, the only thing (as ugly as it sounds) someone can think about or reflect upon, is how their lives will also end at some point, and every single label, wall ideology, religion, belief or human division will not matter.  I love the idea of being a global citizen; not believing in borders, religions, or any other aspect that divide us, but I feel more inclined to believe in SPIRITUAL CITIZENSHIP.

I will definite it as:

“The idea that, at the end of the day, all human beings are at that: humans; all souls caught up in an earthly experience that none of us has the answer to”.

I am talking about the journey of life; our everyday experience; our footprint on this planet we call home. How many times have we stopped to reflect upon the fact that we’re all the same? flesh and bones; that we all feel insecure, neglected, happy, overwhelmed, and that, we are just not alone, because even when we do not see it, the person next to us understands and knows what it means to feel naked and exposed…what it means to feel vulnerable.

The main idea I’m trying to explain here is, spiritual citizenship, means to recognize and connect with each other, as part of the soulful journey we are all living every day on different bodies that were given to us; and with mentalities that have been shaped to fit into boxes that the human kind has constructed out of fear. Our purpose, as spiritual citizens, is to kick down those boxes and re-conocernos again, as divine energy and light.
