Romita is a second-year student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She plans to major in International Political Economy and minor in Spanish. Romita is passionate about international politics and educational enrichment, serving as the Director of Academic Programming on the Board of Directors for the Georgetown International Relations Club. She is also Director of Business & Advancement for NAIMUN LX, Georgetown’s high school Model United Nations conference and the largest student-run conference in the Western Hemisphere. In addition, Romita has a passion for social justice, having been involved with Amnesty International USA since high school. In addition to starting a club at her high school, she was recruited as a student leader and has been Amnesty’s DC Student Activism Coordinator for two years, working to establish and develop student groups in the DMV region. Romita also plays the flute in the GU Orchestra and writes for the Leisure section of The Georgetown Voice.
