Based in Mérida, México, Matthew is a sociologist who thinks and works at the intersection of leadership development and intercultural exchange. His previous work experiences include Project Director in Mexico and Colombia with Amigos de las Américas and English Teaching Assistant at the University of Guadalajara as a Fulbright García Robles grantee. He is also a proud alumnus of Global Citizen Year (Senegal ’13) and Americorps (City Year New York ’12). In his free time, he is a novice DJ, avid taco enthusiast, and cenote explorer on the Yucatán peninsula. Matthew holds a B.A. in Sociology and Global Poverty & Practice from the University of California, Berkeley.
