Born and raised in Central Florida, Kaite graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and a concentration in Region & Culture in May 2020. She spent a formative semester abroad in Amman, Jordan studying foreign policy and participating in an intercultural mentorship program. Her previous experience working in youth development and international exchange led her to Washington, D.C. for her final semester of undergrad. Enabled by an international relations and women’s empowerment scholarship program, Kaite served as the Peace Corps Office of Gifts and Grants Management intern. Here, she refined her programming, fundraising, and grantmaking skills. Her passion for working closely with local and global social change leaders and experience in development strategy led her to join the Atlas Corps team in Fall 2020 as the Development Intern. Kaite currently serves as the Special Projects Assistant, primarily coordinating the American Express Leadership Academy Alumni network. She spends a vast majority of her free time biking through Washington, D. C.’s hidden side streets and making bad coffee.
