It’s been a little more over a year now since I’ve been living in DC. I recently had a conversation with a colleague about the level of comfort I feel in regards to my life in the US. This made me think of the lecture that Dr. Weaver had for us during orientation. After a few more conversations with other friends here and a bit of self reflection, I realize I am now in the “Acceptance/Enthusiasm” stage. I now feel “at home”.
