Polina Maximova is from Siberia, Russia. She earned a Specialist degree in Linguistics from Novosibirsk State University in 2015 and had the opportunity to experience teaching in her university during her last semester of studies. As a project coordinator, Polina learned skills such as multitasking, problem-solving, being detail oriented, and flexible. For 10 months, Polina successfully served as a project coordinator even while being out of the country. Polina participated in Erasmus+ project in the non-profit sector. During her project, Polina had administrative duties, and she organized a free English club for the local children. Erasmus+ project gave Polina the possibility to be a part of the city hall team and learn about different cultures, traditions, and the life of non-profit organizations. This experience aroused her interest in the whole process of creating a project and developing it. It also helped Polina to broaden her vision on multiculturalism and refocus attention not only to external circumstances of actions but also on emotions.
