Pandu Kartika Putra has over three years of work and leadership experience in the public sector innovation space. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/Computer Science from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2017. He is a Digital Government Consultant, currently working with the World Bank on a project to help the Government of Indonesia craft its digital transformation strategies through research, engagement, and capacity building. He is also an advisor to Jabar Digital Service, the West Java provincial government digital innovation unit that he founded. Before leaving his full-time position as its Executive Director, he led the team to launch and manage 15+ award-winning programs and products that serve more than 48 million citizens and 40.000 civil servant officers. Through these experiences, Pandu has developed a unique blend of technology expertise, change management, bureaucracy savviness, and organization-building skills that are important to build lasting change in government. Previously, he honed his digital business skills and acumen in the private sector as the Head of Product at Feedloop and as the Head of Business at Warung Pintar, both are up-and-coming startups that are helping businesses grow by simplifying their digital transformation journey. He gained tremendous experience during these stints, learning how to innovate and build great products in an agile manner. Since his college days, Pandu has been an avid advocate of the role of technology in improving citizen’s quality of life, creating world-class public service, and making an accountable government.
