Marielle Ali strives for social justice both locally and internationally. She has eight years of experience in partnerships, advocacy, and program management. Marielle works as a Program Manager at the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations. Marielle also serves as the United Nations Association USA National Council’s Vice-Chair promoting US leadership at the United Nations. Marielle chaired UNA-USA’s UN75 Committee — commemorating the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. Under her leadership, the committee led 50 state virtual consultations and produced a report that was shared with U.S. Members of Congress. Separately, Marielle is the Director of Diplomacy for the Women of Color Advancing Peace and Security’s Global Advocacy and Diplomacy Working Group. Locally, Marielle is a Board Member for New York City Community Board 12 Manhattan. Marielle holds a Bachelor of Science in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She also holds a Master’s in Global Affairs from New York University. Today, more than ever, Marielle is committed to partnerships and empowering others to find their voice and to take action in achieving a more equitable and sustainable world for all.
