Lindsay Harrington is a global development professional with experience managing development and emergency response programs serving vulnerable children and families in need in Eastern and Southern Africa. As Program Manager at SOS Children’s Villages, Lindsay supports the EduCare Program, which empowers vulnerable children to reach their full potential through education, and builds a more inclusive and resilient societies through family strengthening, economic development, and improving communities’ ability to protect and care for children. Lindsay joined SOS Children’s Villages in 2019 and began her time with the organization as a Hilton Prize Coalition Fellowship Laureate. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in International Social Welfare Policy from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Art History from Gettysburg College. During her studies, Lindsay worked for the United Nations Development Program in New York and for the United Nations in Namibia.
