Kristina Shingalova has three and a half years of experience in the non-profit sector and earned a Specialist degree in Organizational Management of Organization from the Russian International Academy of Tourism in Kazan, Russia. During her three years as Customer Relations Officer at AWRostamani Group in the United Arab Emirates, she helped improve the company’s marketing strategies and initiated the collection of plastic bottles and paper waste to provide wheelchairs for children with disabilities in collaboration with Red Crescent in Dubai and a non-profit organization from Serbia. Previously, Kristina worked in various banks where she assisted clients with financial advice and for a major tour operator Pegas Touristic as a tour guide interpreter and hotel guide where she helped plan and organize trips for MICE groups. In 2019, Kristina volunteered at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She also helped raise funds for the local animal shelter by collecting plastic, paper, and cans in the community, and volunteered as a knitting instructor at the Center for Children with Special Needs in 2011 and 2010 to help develop fine motor skills in children in her hometown in Chuvashia, Russia. Through these experiences, Kristina developed strong fundraising and project management skills. She is heavily involved in the field of human ecology and has a keen interest in finding solutions to environmental challenges and developing youth policy.
