Ella Shukho has thirteen years of experience in teaching, non-profit work, translations, and innovations. She earned two Bachelor’s degrees in PR and in Management of small and medium- sized businesses from Russian Financial Academy and Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University. In addition, Ella studied linguistics for three years in Pyatigorsk and cultural anthropology in Hunter College, CUNY in New York. For the past six years, Ella worked in the innovation of ecosystems helping start-ups from Russia to grow. She was COO of an international company residing in Moscow, and then went on to working on different projects with start-up teams. She was responsible for product and business development. Now, she helps to find and invite talented teams to big programs within the innovation ecosystem in Russia. In addition, she works in a project whose mission is to build flexible yet sustainable deals. The skills she acquired are planning and executing PR and marketing strategy for start-up scouting, building processes within start-ups, and financial and operational planning for small organizations and start-ups. Her areas of particular interests are the social impacts of new technologies and services on global population and processes, equal access to education, and human rights.
