Caroline Healey serves as the Membership and Communications Associate for the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers, where she is responsible for managing communications for the 100-member association of foundations based in the Washington, D.C. region. She maintains the organization’s database and supports partnership management to promote collaboration between the local community, corporate, and independent grantmakers. Previously, Caroline served as a Consulting Fellow for Bell Creek Consulting, a social-purpose agency focused on developing grantmaking strategies for promoting economic prosperity and racial equity. In 2020, Caroline graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a major in Sociology and a double minor in Government and Statistics. During her time at Georgetown, Caroline worked at the Designing the Future(s) Initiative, a think-tank within the university focused on developing innovative education programs. In this position, Caroline developed and implemented a speaker series, featuring guests from the technology and climate innovation sectors. She also served for one year as the Membership Chair for the largest club on campus, the College Democrats. She has previously held positions in the programs department of the Case Foundation and the Council on Foundations. In these positions, Caroline became adept at program management, event planning, and partnership development. She is particularly interested in strengthening non-profit infrastructure and developing the philanthropy sector. Caroline seeks to grow her career in the grantmaking sector to promote talent, knowledge, and collaboration development for non-profits and direct service organizations.
