“Points of Light’s Conference on Volunteering and Service is the largest service-related convening of nonprofit, government, business and civic leaders in the world.” Having the opportunity to be part of the conference this year based in Seattle, Washington was great.
Back home, in Honduras, we have a non-profit organization called “Club Amor/ Love Club” which started with 5 volunteers, and in 5 years we had 300 young volunteers in our network. Committed to serve infants fighting against cancer and being engaged spreading the word. Sharing ideas with many leaders during the conference, made us realize how similar our paths have been, and we all learned from each other.
