On August 12th, people around the world celebrated International Youth Day, marking the 17th year the United Nations designated a day to celebrate and reflect upon the enormous potential of youth to catalyze change in their communities and societies.

To mark this occasion, the OpenGov Hub and Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) co-hosted a panel discussion focused on how youth and technology contribute to governance reforms around the world, where I had the great honor to be a panelist.

This conversation between changemakers around the world was the perfect opportunity to present my most recent tech-project called “The Inflacio-meter of Venezuela“, which is an online tool that will allow Venezuelans to see the specific effects that inflation has on their families, and act as a defense in the absence of reliable government data.

I’m grateful with CIPE, OpenGov and Atlas Corps for giving me the platform to talk about youth shaping the future, and celebrate the #InternationalYouthDay around inspiring people.

P.S: Special thanks to my Fellow fellow, Anesu Masube for covering my participation in this event. Check bellow his social media posts.
