I could fully understand the meaning of this quote after watching Human, a documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Yann captures the lives and emotions of people living in different parts of the world. What intrigued me the most was how our surrounding and situations shape our definitions of simple yet tough to define terms like love, happiness, success, etc. This piece of art gave me a newer perspective to understand human lives.
