As this year comes to an end I find myself reflecting on what an incredible year it has been, 2013 has been a great year for me.
I believe it was an old English professor who shared this definition of time: “Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love — time is eternity”.
I will say I fall into the last category, If I had to pick one singular highlight of the year it would be the malaria workshop I lead, organized by my host organization GBCHealth in partnership with WHO/RBM in Ghana. Various events and circumstances have focussed the lens for me this year, so that I end the year sharper and living out more of who I’m called to be.
We are about entering another year, which looks more promising, I am calling on each of us to live the life we’re all each individually called to live. Let’s face it, life rarely turns out how we’d expect, but what’s going on in our hearts and the way we choose to respond to what life throws at us will define more of our life than we can imagine.
Just few hours to 2014, while we wait I’ll will say goodbye to 2013 and “HAPPY 2014”
