Olga Kuznetsova has seven years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a youth worker of the Belarusian Youth Public Union “New Faces”, which works towards creating a strong civil position of youth in Belarus through non-formal education. Her scope of responsibility is wide, starting from facilitating internal organizational processes, to project management and coordination of volunteers. Moreover, she worked as an intern at the International Organization for Migration in Belarus for nine months, where her role involved working on information campaigns to create a positive image of migration, as well as assisting in training implementation. Through these experiences, Olga developed strong leadership, managerial, and diplomacy skills. Olga’s main interests are civic engagement, youth empowerment, and non-formal education.
Maksim KarliukBelarus (Host: Cato Institute)
Maksim has ten years of legal research experience and has earned an LL.M in European Law from the College of Europe, Bruges Campus (Belgium). He currently works as a research fellow at the HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development, National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow. He conducts research on regulatory framework for artificial intelligence and on regional integration. He also is finalizing his PhD in law at Ghent University (Belgium). Through these and other experiences he has developed strong research, leadership and productivity skills and reinforced his enthusiasm to bring about a positive change in the world.
