Alamiga is a thirty four year old Ugandan national from West Nile Region of Yumbe District. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) with first class honors from Uganda Christian University, Mukono, Uganda and has a certificate in Budgetary Management and Expenditure Control from Uganda Management Institute, Kampala, Uganda. Mustafa is a highly reliable, motivated and transparent Financial Accountant with proven and successful work experience of more than eight years with nonprofit sector since June, 2009 to date. Mustafa works for Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Uganda, West Nile Program Area as the Assistant Project Accountant since July 2015 to date following previous employment with Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD) West Nile as the Finance Officer from June 2009 to June 2015. These experiences enabled him to; contribute greatly to strengthening the capacity of staff members and that of the partners on financial management and accountability, budget planning, implementation, monitoring and reviews, maintain proper books of accounts, accurate and reliable accounting information and records, and support development and implementation of the general operations manual (financial policies and procedures), enforce sound financial internal controls and assist in preparation and implementation of budgets. His passion is to take lead in areas of financial management and accountability, budget planning and management, resource planning and mobilization.

Role at Host Organization: Mustafa will act as the Finance Fellow and support the financial management of program grants including accounting, recording and reporting as well as supporting the general accounting and accounts payable functions.
