Hulu has four years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English. While working as a Project Coordinator with Shining Stone Community Action in Beijing for 3 years, she was responsible for trainings and community development projects. She helped build the capacity of residents, community workers, and nonprofit workers, government officials on governance, and conflict resolution, as well as participatory meeting methodologies. She also kept international communications and exchanges with trainers and facilitators around the world to learn and share experiences. Prior to this work, Hulu worked with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in Amsterdam to advance mainstream of sustainability reporting and GRI guideline. Through these experiences, she developed strong communication, training, project coordination, implementation, management, and monitoring and evaluation skills. Hulu enjoys focusing on the topics of social enterprise, and corporate social responsibility, and has a strong passion for facilitation and international exchange.

Host Organization: Youth For Understanding

Role at Host Organization: Hulu will support the expansion of the mission of global citizenry through public diplomacy and international exchange; explore, develop, and implement new programs in Exchange with China; and access to volunteers within the organization to provide resource.
