Evgeniya has four years of experience in university’s international development and earned a post-secondary degree in International Relations from Tomsk State University. Working as a Teachers Assistant at Colorado State University, Evgeniya volunteered to help strengthen the Russian community in Fort Collins through Russian story time events for parents and children. Previously, Evgeniya worked as a director of the Center of Linguistic Competence, where she was involved with community engagement, teaching and organizing six-month long English courses for adults. Evgeniya also worked as one of the creators and managers of the English milieu project at a state university. The project, among other things, was aimed at deepening cultural understanding among the employees of a local university. In her day to day work as a head of a university international division, Evgeniya has always aspired to promote intercultural understanding and dialogue, to ensure international students easily integrate into the local society, and to support international students through working with volunteers. These experiences contributed to her mission to promote cultural awareness and education, her strong organizational skills and her creativity. Evgeniya’s main areas of interest are education, cultures, and humanities.
