Kate has ten years of experience in marketing and communications in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Specialist’s degree in Marketing from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in Russia. As a volunteer of the Russian nonprofit organization Perspectives, Kate designed and taught art classes for youth with multi-sensory impairments, mental, and physical limitations in the biggest orphanage in the northwest of Russia. She managed and promoted fundraising events for partners and donors. While working as a marketing manager in commercial companies, she coordinated corporate social responsibility programs from their designing and developing to the digital promotion and public affairs. Through this experience, Kate developed strong skills in digital marketing, event planning, public affairs, and project coordination. Kate is interested in an inclusive environment for people with disabilities, access to healthcare, and corporate social responsibility.

Role at Atlas Corps: At Atlas Corps, Kate as the Atlas Corps Engagement Manager Fellow will be engaged in a 12-month practical training experience during which she will develop her skills in communications, public relations, project management, and partnership building.
