Bella Goldshtein has five years of experience in the organization «The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia» as a press secretary. She graduated from the Russian State University for the Humanities and has a Master’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Previously she earned a Bachelor`s degree in Psychology at the State University Higher School of Economics. While working she has taken a leading position in project development aimed at combating anti-Semitism, national and racial discrimination and the promotion of interfaith relations in Russia. Bella realized a number of projects focused on commemorating the Holocaust and World War II. Bella participated in different cultural projects of the Jewish community. She was responsible for collaboration with media, relations with government and social organizations. Through these experiences she has developed strong management skills in the areas of social, religious and humanitarian projects, public relations expertise via communication with various Russian and foreign media counterparts, as well as a decent partnership with social institutes, cultural communities, charity funds, and government committees. Bella feels passionate about the development of religious freedom at the former Soviet Union and contribution to eliminating racism and discrimination from the contemporary international society, maintaining Jewish heritage and raising the bar of the national self-awareness among the young Jewish generation.
Role at National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry
At NCSEJ, Bella will handle an array of responsibilities including monitoring legislation, researching and reporting on regional developments, producing publications, maintaining website, attending hearings and briefings, and organizing/staffing events.
