Julienne has seven years of experience in the media and communications sector, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, majoring in Communications Technology Management from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Since 2011, Julienne has been based in Hong Kong working in the said communications and publishing industries. Her most recent role had her actively coordinating media and public relations for the Forbes Under 30 Summit Asia 2018 recognizing youth leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific Region. Another highlight in her advocacy work has been her efforts to raise awareness on the global illegal wildlife trade. In 2016, Julienne co-authored a book in collaboration with a renowned Asian environmentalist in partnership with non-profit Project C:Change. The book was entitled Love Is Wild published by Asia One Product & Publishing, accompanied by a fine art photography exhibition and TV series on global warming / climate change, poaching of endangered species, etc. Julienne’s other published works cover topics such as gender and women’s issues, public health and racial discrimination.
