Tulaine Montgomery believes that creating a legacy and impact comes when you are fully committed to important work that you believe in. She shared that “the challenge with ‘show and prove’ as your engine is that when you are busy showing and proving, you’re not doing a lot of listening and learning. So I think it’s important advice for folks early in their career to practice humility, to be curious, and take responsibility.”

Tulaine is Co-CEO at New Profit, a venture philanthropy organization that backs visionary leaders who are scaling innovations and transforming the U.S’s most important and inequitable systems. She has led the launch and expansion of several social enterprises domestically and internationally, focusing her international efforts on East Africa and the Caribbean.
