Janti Soeripto, President and CEO of Save Children US, describes the moment she spotted a leadership talent during a visit to South Sudan and shares where he is now, many years later.
Her own role is very much focused on talent and potential in people: “As a leader, more than 80 percent of my time is spent on making sure I spot the right talent – future and current – and that we put that talent to work on our most critical problems.” She is looking for self-starters who have a spark and curiosity and “I look for people who are always thinking, ‘How can I add value?'”
