VISION 2015

our three-year scaling strategy to expand to 100 Fellows per year and become 100% operationally funded

By 2015, Atlas Corps plans to double the size of our organization-to engage 100 Fellows each year (Vision 2015). This ambitious strategic plan will benefit the entire nonprofit sector by empowering the upcoming generation of nonprofit professionals while building the capacity of the organizations where they serve. In addition, Vision 2015 will make Atlas Corps 100% operationally-funded based on the Host Organization cost share and "economies of scale" - the per-Fellow expense decreases as the number of engaged Fellows increases. We will utilize these additional resources to strengthen our current model, enhance our ongoing engagement of Alumni, and look to develop more innovative outreach activities for our international network. The result, a global network of dedicated and trained organizations and individuals ready to more effectively address the critical social issues.

Current Vision 2015 Investors

  • Host Organizations: Include nonprofits, private, and government entities. Each Host Organization commits to contributing a cost share of that covers approximately 80% of the cost related to each Fellow. By 2015, due to economies of scale, we anticipate that our Host Organization cost share will cover 100% of operational costs.
  • Private and Government Support: Includes the American Express Foundation, Motorola Mobility Foundation, Taproot Foundation, and U.S. Department of State. By 2015, these innovative investors will support the continued enhancement of our model.
  • Individuals: Includes more than 100 individuals through their one-time and monthly contributions. By 2015, our individual investors will be our growth leaders as we reach out to new countries to engage more Fellows..
